Start with 10, then next week with 20, then 30, until you do 54 sun salutations every 2 days, or  the 108 every week.
This will keep you fit, focused, building strength and flexibility for your practice, and increase your breathing technique. 
Sun Salutations is an easy way to start your regular practice.
Deep breathing through your nose, be aware of every movement, specially when going to chaturanga keeping elbows in towards your ribs. And then when pushing up to upward facing dog, keep shoulders down away from your ears and open the chest forward.
